It was a gorgeous, chilly morning so we headed out for a walk (after waking up bright and early at about 10:00).  This church is just down the street from us!  We walked down to the Limehouse boat basin, then walked along the Thames River and up into some very cute neighborhoods.  Then onto a cafe at St. Katharine’s piers for a full English breakfast (I am LOVING the beans with eggs for some reason).  We walked past the Tower Bridge and crossed the London Bridge to visit Borough Market—a fantastic mix of fruit/veg stands, food vendors and lots of local goods.  I wished that I’d skipped breakfast so I could’ve eaten more there, but I did manage to pick up a few things to cook later in the week.
